How to properly preserve fertilizer

The storage of fertilizers should be "six preventions":
1. Prevent mixing. Chemical fertilizers are mixed together, it is easy to deteriorate the physical properties. If superphosphate meets ammonium nitrate, it will increase the hygroscopicity and cause inconvenience in application.
2. The name of the logo is not true. Some farmers use compound fertilizer bags of urea, some use urea bags of compound fertilizers or ammonium sulfate, and some use imported compound fertilizer bags of special fertilizers, so it is easy to make mistakes during use.
3. Anti-breakage bag packaging. If the nitrate nitrogen flying material is highly hygroscopic, it will turn into a slurry or even a liquid after absorbing water. It should be sealed and stored. Generally, it should be stored in a ceramic container such as a tank or altar and tightly covered.
4. Fire prevention. In particular, nitrate nitrogen fertilizers such as ammonium nitrate and potassium nitrate decompose oxygen when exposed to high temperatures, and burn or explode when exposed to open flames.
5. Anti-corrosion. There are free acids in superphosphate and ammonium bicarbonate is alkaline. Do not contact such metal fertilizers with metal containers or scales to avoid corrosion.
6. The aromatic fertilizer is mixed with seeds and food. Special attention should be paid to the mixed volatile ammonium bicarbonate and ammonia water which will affect the germination.
